How does the Body Shaving Oil differ from the Intimate Feel Good and Beauty Oil?
The Body Shaving Oil is slightly lighter than the Feel Good & Beauty Oil and is adapted for wet shaving with our razor. It makes it easier for the razor blades to glide and also cares for the skin as it is slowly absorbed. The Intimate Feel Good & Beauty Oil is very rich and slightly thicker, as it is intended for intensive care of the sensitive intimate area. As an after-shave product, it is adapted to the thin, shaving-stressed skin of the outer intimate area.
What is the difference between chemical and mechanical exfoliation?
Mechanical exfoliants usually contain fine granules made from various raw materials, such as fruit seeds, salts or bamboo granules, which are rubbed onto the skin during application to create an exfoliating effect. Chemical peels, on the other hand, use different acids (AHA, BHA & PHA) and can therefore penetrate deeper into the skin to remove dead cells. The 2in1 AHA Body Scrub contains fine exfoliating particles made from natural volcanic rock as well as two different AHA acids, which also remove dead skin cells. Tip: If you leave the scrub on and use it as a body mask, the AHA acids can penetrate deeper into the skin layers and thus develop their full effect.
Does the scrub and AHA acids make the skin thinner and more vulnerable?
No, on the contrary: your skin is actually strengthened as the production of the skin's own components is stimulated. With regular use, only the horny layer (top layer of skin) becomes thinner. However, this process is important for the skin, as over time your top layer of skin becomes thicker and keratinized. This makes it increasingly difficult for nourishing substances to penetrate. In addition, calluses and clogged pores make your skin look tired and dull and ingrown hairs and blemishes occur more frequently. You can counteract this effect with the 2in1 AHA Body Scrub.
