3) Hosting & Content Delivery Network

3.1 Shopify

For hosting our website and displaying the content, we use the system of the following provider: Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland ("Shopify"). Data is also transmitted to: Shopify Inc., 150 Elgin St, Ottawa, ON K2P 1L4, Canada. All data collected on our website is processed on the provider's servers. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties. In the case of data transmission to Canada, an adequate level of data protection is ensured by a decision of the Swiss Federal Council.

3.2 Cloudflare

We use a content delivery network from the following provider: Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St. San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. This service allows us to deliver large media files such as graphics, page content, or scripts faster through a network of regionally distributed servers. The processing is carried out to safeguard our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties. For data transmission to the USA, the provider relies on standard contractual clauses of the Federal Data Protection and Publicity Commissioner (EDÖB), which are intended to ensure compliance with Swiss data protection standards.

4) Cookies

To make our website more attractive to visitors and to enable the use of certain features, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e., after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). 5.2 Zendesk

To process customer inquiries, we use the email ticketing system of the following provider: Zendesk International Ltd., 55 Charlemont Place, Saint Kevin's, Dublin D02 F985, Ireland. If you contact us via our website, these inquiries are stored and organized in the ticket system to allow for chronological processing and to improve the service experience. You can always check the current status of your inquiry using the individually assigned ticket number. For organizing and processing inquiries, personal data is collected according to the scope of its provision, at least name, first name, and email address, transmitted to the provider, stored there, and retrieved. The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in efficiently designing our customer service, responding to your inquiry as quickly as possible, and optimizing our service offering. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

6) Data Processing for Opening a Customer Account and for Contract Processing

Personal data is collected and processed when you provide it to us for the execution of a contract or when opening a customer account. What data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. Deleting your customer account is possible at any time and can be done by sending a message to our address. We store and use the data you provide for contract processing. After deleting your customer account, your data will be blocked with regard to tax and commercial retention periods and deleted after these periods expire, unless we can demonstrate a legitimate interest in further processing in accordance with Art. 31 Para. 2 DSG or a justification under the law.

7) Use of Your Data for Direct Advertising

7.1 Subscription to Our E-Mail Newsletter. By providing your personal data, you consent to us using this data to send newsletters. We store your IP address recorded by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration to be able to trace any misuse of your email address at a later time. The data we collect when you subscribe to the newsletter is used exclusively for the purpose of advertising contact via the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided in the newsletter or by sending us a corresponding message. After unsubscribing, your email address will be deleted immediately from our newsletter distribution list, unless we can demonstrate a legitimate interest in further processing in accordance with Art. 31 Para. 2 DSG or a justification under the law.

7.2 Klaviyo

The sending of our e-mail newsletters is done through this provider: Klaviyo, Inc., 125 Summer St., Ste 600, Boston, MA 02110, USA. Based on our legitimate interest in effective and user-friendly newsletter marketing, we pass on the data you provided during newsletter registration in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO to this provider so that it can take over the newsletter dispatch on our behalf. Subject to your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO, the provider additionally conducts a statistical evaluation of the success of newsletter campaigns using web beacons or tracking pixels in the sent emails, which can measure open rates and specific interactions with the newsletter content. Device information (e.g., time of access, IP address, browser type, and operating system) is also collected and evaluated, but not merged with other data sets. You can revoke your consent to newsletter tracking at any time with effect for the future. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider that protects the data of our website visitors and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

8) Data Processing for Order Processing

8.1 The personal data we collect is transmitted to the transport company commissioned with the delivery within the framework of the contract processing, as far as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. We will pass on your payment data to the commissioned credit institution within the framework of the payment processing, as far as this is necessary for the payment processing. If specific service providers are used for order processing, we will explicitly inform you about this below.

8.2 Disclosure of personal data to shipping service providers - DHL. If the delivery of the goods is carried out by the transport service provider DHL (DHL Logistics (Switzerland) AG, Pumpwerkstrasse 51, 8105 Regensdorf), we will pass on your email address before the delivery of the goods for the purpose of coordinating a delivery date or for the delivery announcement to DHL, provided you have given your explicit consent in the ordering process for this. If the delivery of the goods is carried out by the transport service provider Post CH (Swiss Post AG, Switzerland, Wankdorfallee 4, 3030 Bern), we will pass on your email address before the delivery of the goods for the purpose of coordinating a delivery date or for the delivery announcement to Post CH, provided you have given your explicit consent in the ordering process for this. Otherwise, we will only provide the recipient's name and the delivery address to Post CH for the purpose of delivery. In this case, prior coordination of the delivery date with Post CH or the transmission of status information for the delivery of the shipment is not possible. 9) Rights of the Data Subject

The applicable data protection law grants you the following rights against the responsible party regarding the processing of your personal data (rights to information and intervention), referring to the respective conditions for exercising these rights:

  • Right of access according to Art. 25 DSG
  • Right to data portability or transfer according to Art. 28 DSG
  • Right to rectification according to Art. 32 Para. 1 DSG

10) Duration of Storage of Personal Data

The duration of storage of personal data is based on the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing, and – if applicable – additionally on the respective statutory retention period (e.g., obligations to retain records). When processing personal data based on explicit consent, the affected data is retained until you revoke your consent. If there are legal retention periods for data, this data will be retained for the legally prescribed duration. Otherwise, personal data will be processed as long as you do not explicitly prohibit the processing unless we can demonstrate a legitimate interest in further processing in accordance with Art. 31 Para. 2 DSG or a justification under the law.
